Dr Ramia Mokbel has been a substantive consultant dermatologist with a special interest in skin cancer at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London. She is also an honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College, London

Dr Mokbel is skilled in the assessment of suspicious moles and lesions using advanced dermoscopy and offers a very high technology full body mole mapping service. She also provides biopsy and skin surgery, where necessary.

Dr Mokbel’s other clinical interests include the management of acne and rosacea, psoriasis and eczema. She is also highly experienced in the management of paediatric skin conditions.
Dr Mokbel completed her dermatology training at Barts NHS Trust and the Royal Free Hospital in London.

Dr Mokbel is also an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the Queen Mary University MSC Aesthetic Medicine in London, where she is also a co-module lead to Lasers and Energy Based-Devices.

She was awarded a distinction in Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at Queen Mary University of London in July 2012 and received her medical training at a number of large teaching hospitals including John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, the London Chest Hospital and the Royal London Hospital. Dr Mokbel was appointed as a clinical research fellow in oncoplastic breast surgery (2004-2006) at St George’s Hospital in London, where she released a number of important publications and advanced her surgical skills.
